Editing Game Settings
The Game Settings blade lets you customize how your game plays — things like max players, difficulty, world options, and more. The available settings depend on the game.
Where to find it
Open a server from your Console and go to the Game Settings blade on its instance page.
What you can change
Each game exposes its own settings. Common examples include:
- Max players — how many people can join at once.
- Difficulty / game mode — how challenging the game is.
- World options — seed, world type, PvP, mob spawning, and similar.
For the specific options each game offers, see its configuration guide.
Applying changes
Save your changes from the blade. Depending on the game and setting, the server may need to restart to apply them — if so, you'll be asked to confirm, since a restart briefly interrupts anyone currently playing.
When settings are locked
If the server is mid-operation (Starting, Stopping, or Deleting), the Game Settings blade is locked until the operation finishes.
Changes are logged
Game-settings changes are recorded in the server's Activity Log so you can see what was changed and when.
