Your Wallet Currency
Every account has one fixed wallet currency: either USD or IDR. It's chosen automatically the first time you sign in and it never changes.
How your currency is chosen
When your account is first created, we detect your approximate location:
- Visitors in Indonesia get an IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) wallet.
- Everyone else gets a USD (US Dollar) wallet.
Why it can't be changed
Your credit balance is stored in your wallet currency. Allowing the currency to change would mean converting your stored balance back and forth with shifting exchange rates, which could silently lose you money. To keep your balance stable and predictable, the currency is locked once at sign-up.
What your currency affects
| Area | USD wallet | IDR wallet |
|---|---|---|
| Payment method | PayPal | Midtrans (QRIS, GoPay, bank transfer) |
| Price list | USD top-up amounts | IDR top-up amounts |
| Balance display | e.g. $25.00 |
e.g. Rp 250.000 |
There is no foreign-exchange conversion anywhere in the product — USD wallets always use USD pricing and IDR wallets always use IDR pricing, as two independent price lists.
Can I switch currency?
No. If you need a different currency, that effectively means a different wallet. The currency is a permanent property of your account.
