My Server Won't Start

If a server won't reach the Running state, work through these checks.

1. Is it still starting?

Provisioning a fresh server and launching the game takes a few minutes. If the status is Starting, give it a little more time before assuming something's wrong — see Understanding Server Status.

2. Do you have enough credit?

A server needs enough credit to cover its first hour. If your balance is too low, creation or start is blocked. Check your balance and top up if needed:

3. Is the status "Error"?

An Error status means the server hit a problem during start. Try this:

1. Restart the server — many transient issues clear on a second attempt.
2. Check the Activity Log, which records the error detail.

4. Recently changed mods or settings?

If you just changed mods or game settings, a bad combination can prevent a clean start. Revert the recent change and start again.

Still not starting?

If it repeatedly fails even after a restart and with enough credit, the Activity Log error detail is the best clue to what's blocking it.
